Established in 1984, Sahudangi Hat P.K Roy High School is a co-ed West Bengal government sponsored school with SECONDARY in 1992 and HIGHER SECONDARY in 2013 affiliation. Situated in Sahudangi besides the Siliguri Ambari state highway, the school boasts a 3-acre campus with a sprawling playground ,34 fully furnished classrooms divided across 6 buildings, a state-of-the-art auditorium, computer lab and smart classrooms, amongst other amenities.
On the academic end , the curriculum offers courses in both art and science streams post Madhyamik , ( complete with the cutting edge lab facilities in separate Physics , Biology , Chemistry and Geography labs ), a computer education programme, and additional vocational courses in beauty and wellness and construction, all handled by 56 incredibly competent faculty with years of teaching experience who devote themselves to not only helping their students achieve consistent academic excellence , but also holistic mental and physical well-being through the schools various games and sports training programmes.

Meet Our Principal
Mr. Pradip Choudhuri, having completed masters in the subject of botany in 1994, has since then had a prolific career as teacher spanning over 25 years, beloved and respected by both his fellow colleagues and his students. Over the last 6 years, he has decided to redirect his expertise and experience towards school management, assuming the responsibilities of Headmaster of Sahudangi Hat P.K Roy High school, heralding a new age of growth and development for not only the institution, but for the community as a whole. An individual of iron will determination and boundless compassion for his students, his motto is to foster an environment of holistic growth for the youth of today, so that in time they may be able to give back to their own community, and become torchbearers of a better tomorrow .
His work for his educational institution and his students has attracted much attention and accolades, the most notable of which remains the Shiksha Ratna Puroshkar, awarded to him by government of West Bengal in 2024 for his exemplary work in the education sector.
